Conformiq Tool Suite™: FAQ

Competition

You are not alone in this market segment, and there are other tools like "abc" and "xyz" which are also "model-based testing" tools and seem to have similar value proposition.
Do you differ from these tools? Why should we invest in you instead of any of your competitors?

The term "model-based testing" is widely used to designate many different tools and approaches. The first key differentiating factor is that in our solution you model the system instead of modeling the tests. This is one of the core sources of the productivity figures we have reached, and ranks out most of the apparent competition. You cannot avoid doing test design manually as long as you model the tests. The only way to avoid it is to... avoid it, modeling the desired behavior of the system instead.

The second differentiating factor is that we have a fully expressive modeling language and support the automatic generation of both test inputs as well as test outputs, with support for fully structural data. Many of the "model-based testing" tools actually force you to implement both test inputs as well as test outputs by hand ("implementing verification conditions"). This is not the case with our tool, which provides a fully automatic experience driven by state-of-the-art mathematical algorithms.

Among the class of system model driven tools, our product is technically superior based on customer feedback.

But don´t take our word for it—try it yourself!
